if I were a publisher who has not implemented access management but said they would in 2010;
I’d go ahead and deploy shib or similar
if I were a member of JISC access management team;
I’d try and remember that pushing for the adoption of SAML and/or other standards, using whatever technology is appropriate for a particular institution, has much more long term value than pushing one particular piece of software (and is much more in line with what other parts of JISC do)
